Caramel Layer Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (14 oz.) pkg. light caramels
    1/3 c. evaporated milk
    1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
    3/4 c. margarine, melted
    1/3 c. evaporated milk
    1 c. nuts, chopped
    1 c. or 6 oz. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease 9 x 13 pan.
    Combine in large bowl remaining ingredients, except chocolate chips.
    By hand, stir until dough holds together.
    Press one-half of dough into pan and reserve remaining dough for topping.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 6 minutes. Sprinkle chocolate chips over baked crust, then spread caramel mixture over all.
    Crumble reserved dough over caramel mixture. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15-20 minutes.
    Cool completely.
