Wet Crust Shoo-Fly Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. vegetable shortening
    1 egg
    1 c. molasses
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. boiling water
    1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
Preparation
    Mix flour, brown sugar and shortening.
    Reserve 3/4 cup of mixture for topping.
