Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. packed brown sugar
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp. salt
2 large eggs
1 2/3 c. evaporated milk
1 1/2 c. boiled, peeled and beaten sweet potatoes
1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
Preparation

Blend sugar, spices and salt together.
Beat eggs with milk and combine with sugar mixture.
Add this mixture to beaten sweet potatoes and heat in medium saucepan until almost boiling.
Remove from heat and pour into unbaked pie shell.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
Reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and continue to bake until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
Serve with whipped cream or Cool Whip.
Makes 8 servings.
