Louisiana Style Potato Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. small new potatoes
3/4 c. Marie's sour cream and dill salad dressing
1 medium green pepper
1/2 c. sweet relish
5 slices bacon
1/2 Tbsp. hot sauce
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/2 c. sliced green onion
Preparation

Cook potatoes; drain.
Slice into 1/4 inch slices.
Cut bacon into 1/2 inch pieces.
Fry until crisp; drain on paper towels, reserving 1 teaspoon drippings.
In small bowl combine salad dressing, hot sauce, pepper, bacon and drippings.
In large bowl combine potatoes, green pepper, onions and relish.
Add dressing and toss gently.
Cover and chill at least 4 hours.
To serve, spoon onto lettuce lined bowl.
Makes 8 servings.
