Mom'S Peas And Macaroni - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (1 lb.) box macaroni (elbow, shells, etc.)
    1 (16 oz.) can Hunt's tomato sauce
    1 medium onion
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    2 bay leaves
    1 (16 oz.) can water
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 pkg. frozen peas
    Italian Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Chop onion and fry in olive oil until lightly browned.
    Add tomato sauce, water, bay leaves and salt and pepper.
    Bring to a boil and simmer 10 minutes.
    Bring water to a boil in 2-quart saucepan for macaroni; cook until tender.
    Drain and rinse, then add to sauce mixture.
    Cook peas until tender and drain.
    Add to mixture.
    Serve in large bowl and sprinkle top with Parmesan cheese.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
