Angel Food Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. egg whites
    1 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 c. sifted cake flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Sift flour and 1/2 cup sugar 4 times, set aside.
    Beat egg whites until foamy.
    Add cream of tartar and salt; beat until soft peaks form.
    Add remaining sugar 2 tablespoons at a time, beating well after each.
    Fold in vanilla. Sprinkle the flour and sugar mixture over the egg whites, 1/2 cup at a time.
    Gently fold in dry ingredients with a spatula.
    Pour the batter into ungreased 10-inch tube pan.
    Bake 1 hour.
