Taffy Apple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. can crushed pineapple
    1 egg, beaten
    2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    8 c. apples
    4 oz. Cool Whip
    1 c. peanuts
Preparation
    Drain pineapple; reserve juice and add egg to juice.
    Stir in vinegar.
    Combine sugar and flour and add to egg mixture.
    Cook over medium heat.
    Stir until thickened.
    Cool.
    Stir dressing into apples; fold in pineapple, Cool Whip and 3/4 cup peanuts. Garnish with remaining nuts before serving.
