Freezer Cole Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium cabbage, shredded
1 carrot, grated
1 green pepper, chopped
1 small onion, chopped
1 tsp. salt
2 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar (white)
1/4 c. water
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. mustard seed
Preparation

Toss together cabbage, pepper, onion, carrots and salt and let stand 1 hour.
Combine in medium saucepan sugar, vinegar, celery seed and mustard seed.
Boil 1 minute.
Cool until lukewarm.
Pour over cabbage mixture and stir until all ingredients are combined.
Freeze until ready to serve.
Thaw 45 minutes before serving.
Store in covered dish.
Serves 8 to 10.
