Lasagna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. Italian sausage
    1/4 lb. ground beef
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 1/2 tsp. basil
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 (8 oz.) can tomatoes
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
Preparation
    Brown meat slowly; drain off fat.
    Add remaining ingredients. Simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, to keep from scorching on bottom.
