Marinated Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 qts. cabbage, shredded
2 onions, chopped
1 large green pepper, chopped
1 red sweet pepper, chopped, or 1 sm. jar pimento
1 pt. vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. celery seed
1 1/2 tsp. mustard seed
1 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. tumeric
Preparation

Mix vegetables together and set aside. Bring remaining ingredients to a boil and pour over cabbage mixture. Stir well and let stand 12 hours in refrigerator. Stir before each use. Keeps well.
