Charleston Chili - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. Chili-O or any pkg. mix
1 lb. ground chuck
1 (16 oz.) crushed tomatoes
1 (6 oz.) Italian tomato paste
1 onion, chopped
2 stalks celery, diced
1 small pepper, diced
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. whole basil
2 c. water
1 (15 oz.) can red kidney beans
Preparation

Brown meat and onions. Pour off fat. Add celery, peppers, crushed tomatoes, tomato paste and water. Cook 1/2 hour. Add Chili-O, oregano, basil, Worcestershire sauce and beans. Cook at low temperature 1 hour, stirring frequently. Add more water as needed. Add cayenne pepper sauce, chili powder and salt to taste.
