Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 egg whites (mix in small bowl until very stiff)
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. cold water
    1 c. nuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. margarine
    2 c. flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add water and remaining ingredients (except egg whites), adding
    nuts last.
    Add beaten egg whites.
    Beat a total of 4 minutes.
    Bake at 350\u00b0
    for 30 minutes.
