Contest Carrot Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1/3 c. buttermilk
    1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
    3 c. flour
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. chopped pecans
    3 c. grated carrots
    1 tsp. lemon extract
Preparation
    Cream sugar, eggs and oil. Into mixture blend flour, soda, buttermilk and cinnamon.
    Stir in chopped pecans, grated carrots and lemon extract, mixing well.
    Bake in a tube pan at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    When cool, cover with glaze.
