Swedish Fruit Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. oleo
    1 c. dates, cut up
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 c. Rice Krispies
    pinch of salt
    1/4 c. candied cherries or mixed fruit
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
    coconut
Preparation
    Melt oleo, add dates.
    Cream eggs and sugar.
    Add to oleo mixture in frypan.
    Cook until thick, stirring constantly.
    Cool. Add other ingredients.
    Form into small balls and roll in coconut. Store in refrigerator in tin.
    Will keep a month.
