Sally Lunn Old-Fashioned Bread(Favorite To Serve With Tea) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. Crisco
    1/3 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 c. sifted enriched flour
    4 tsp. double-acting baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. milk
Preparation
    Blend Crisco, sugar and eggs.
    Mix dry ingredients and add alternately with milk.
    Place in 9-inch square pan which has been rubbed with Crisco.
    Bake in hot oven at 400\u00b0 about 25 minutes. Makes 18 pieces, 3 x 1 1/2 inches.
