Onion-Glorified Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 medium onion, sliced and separated into rings (about 1/2 c.; optional)
    6 pork chops (each 3/4-inch thick, about 2 lb.)
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can Campbell's cream of celery or cream of mushroom soup
    1/4 c. water
Preparation
    Clean and prepare ham for cooking.
    Soak overnight in cold water.
    Take out and wipe with paper towel.
    Place ham in large cooker.
    Put 6 colas over ham.
    Fill cooker with water.
    Place on top of stove and bring to a hard rapid boil.
    Time for one hour after ham hits boiling.
