Oreo Cookie Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (15 oz.) bag Oreo cookies
    8 oz. cream cheese
    1 large pkg. instant chocolate pudding
    1 c. butter
    1 c. powdered sugar
    1 (8 oz.) carton Cool Whip
Preparation
    Crush cookies and sprinkle in bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan. (Leave about 8 cookies for top.)
    Melt butter and pour over cookies; mix.
    Let stand in refrigerator for one hour.
    Mix cream cheese, 1/2 container Cool Whip and powdered sugar until smooth. Spread over cookies and refrigerate another hour.
    Make pudding and pour over cream cheese layer.
    Refrigerate another hour. Spread Cool Whip on top; sprinkle with leftover crushed cookies. Refrigerate or freeze at least 1 hour before serving.
