Grandma'S Shortcake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    4 eggs, at room temperature
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Combine eggs, baking powder and salt.
    Beat well.
    Sift sugar; add gradually to egg mixture.
    Fold in flour.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
    Serve with fresh strawberries on top.
