Queen Elizabeth'S Drop Scones - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 whole eggs
    4 Tbsp. caster sugar (superfine)
    2 teacups milk
    4 teacups flour
    2 tsp. bicarbonate of soda (baking soda)
    3 tsp. cream of tartar
    2 Tbsp. melted butter or oleo
    1/2 c. raisins
Preparation
    Beat eggs, sugar and about half the milk together.
    Combine flour, baking soda and cream of tartar; add to mixture along with with rest of the milk and melted butter.
    Add in raisins; blend well.
    Drop by spoonfuls onto a greased baking pan and bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
    Enough for 16 servings (1 per person).
