Egg Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sweet milk
    1/2 stick butter
    2 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Scald milk and butter just to bubbles.
    Cream sugar, eggs and vanilla lightly and mix with first mixture.
    Bake in 9 5/8-inch pie pan at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes or until center is set.
