Coconut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 butter cake mix
    2 c. sugar
    8 oz. sour cream
    2 pkg. frozen coconut
    1 1/2 c. Cool Whip
Preparation
    Cook cake to package directions (2 layers).
    Split cake layers open (4 layers) turn inside up to soak up icing.
    Blend sugar, sour cream, and coconut.
    Chill.
    Spread
    all but 1 cup between layers.
    Blend remaining 1 cup with Cool Whip.
    Spread on whole cake.
    Store
    in
    airtight\tcontainer in refrigerator overnight.
