Cranberry Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. grated orange peel
    1 beaten egg
    1 c. milk or orange juice
    fresh cranberries
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients together.
    Mix egg and milk or orange juice.
    Mix liquid with dry ingredients only until well moistened. Stir in 1 cup fresh cranberries, sliced in halves and nuts.
    Bake in greased loaf pan about 1 hour, until toothpick comes out clean.
