Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 qt. popped corn
    1/2 c. white syrup
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. brown sugar
    3/4 c. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients but the soda and popcorn; boil 5 minutes.
    Mix in the soda and pour mixture over popcorn that
    is on a cookie sheet.
    Bake for 1 hour at 250\u00b0.
    Stir occasionally.
