Gingerbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box dark brown sugar
    2 c. flour
    1 1/2 sticks butter
    1 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. nutmeg
    2 eggs (unbeaten)
    1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Cut together sugar, flour and butter.
    Set aside 1 cup of the mixture.
    Into the remaining mixture sprinkle the soda, spices and unbeaten eggs; mix.
    Stir in buttermilk.
    Pour into ungreased square pan and sprinkle the remaining cup of reserved dry mixture evenly on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until toothpick comes out clean.
