Dunbar Macaroni - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. hamburger meat
1 small onion, chopped fine
salt and pepper to taste
2 c. tomato juice
1 c. macaroni, uncooked
1/4 lb. grated cheese
1 c. water
Preparation

Cook hamburger meat and onion in 1 cup of water until water is cooked away.
Add salt and pepper.
Add tomato juice and partly cooked macaroni.
Simmer until well done (30 to 45 minutes).
Pour into casserole dish and sprinkle grated cheese over the top while hot.
Ready to serve.
