Homemade Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can Eagle Brand condensed milk
    1 (8 oz.) can evaporated milk
    1/2 pt. whipping cream
    3 eggs
    2 Tbsp. vanilla
    homogenized milk
Preparation
    Mix first 5 ingredients in mixing bowl or blender.
    Pour into 1/2 gallon ice cream freezer and add enough homogenized milk to fill to within 3-inches of the top.
    Freeze in one part ice cream salt and six parts crushed ice.
    For firmer ice cream, remove dasher and repack in salt and ice, wrapping freezer with heavy cloth, such as canvas.
    Let stand 1 1/2 hours.
