Grape Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk or buttermilk
    1 c. Grape Nuts
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    4 c. flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Soak the Grape Nuts in the milk for 10 minutes.
    Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
    Pour into the loaf pan and let rise one hour at room temperature.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 1 hour.
    Makes 1 large loaf.
