Pork And Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 lb. navy beans
    3 qt. tomato juice
    1/2 lb. pork or wieners
    1 lb. sugar
    1/3 lb. salt
    1 c. maple syrup
    1 qt. catsup
    1 tsp. powdered mustard
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. red pepper
Preparation
    Soak beans overnight.
    Cook
    in
    morning
    until
    nearly done. Heat other ingredients;
    add beans.
    Put in cans.
    Cold pack for 1 1/2 hours.
    Makes 12 quarts.
    You can cook together 1 cup brown sugar, 1 cup
    white sugar and 1/2 cup water.
    This can be used instead of maple syrup.
