Georgia Cheese Grits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. water
    1 1/4 c. quick grits (not instant)
    1/2 c. (1 stick) butter, cut in pieces
    2 (6 oz.) pkg. processed cheese with garlic
    2 large eggs
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    In a large saucepan, bring salted water to
    boiling. Stir in grits and cook as package directs. Remove from heat. Add butter and cheese; stir until both are melted. Then stir in eggs and salt.
    Lightly butter 2-quart shallow casserole dish. Spread mixture into casserole evenly. Bake uncovered 1 hour. Serves 6 to 8.
