Easy Fruit Cobbler - cooking recipe

1 stick margarine
1 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
1 egg
1 can fruit of your choice
Preparation

Melt margarine in a large baking dish in oven.
Mix together flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, milk and egg.
If using self-rising flour, omit the salt and baking powder.
Pour mixture over the melted margarine and bake at 325\u00b0 until golden brown or done, about 45 minutes.
