Rummy Pears - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large pears, peeled and cored
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. rum
    4 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Put pears in microwave dish at least 1-inch deep.
    Put 1 tablespoon butter, 1 tablespoon sugar and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon in each pear.
    Pour 1/2 cup rum over pears.
    Cook on High for 3 minutes.
    Spoon sauce over pears.
    Add more rum, if needed.
    Cook on High for 3 more minutes or until almost tender.
    Spoon sauce over pears.
    Serve with whipped cream.
