Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. self-rising corn meal
1/2 c. oil
2 eggs
1 can cream-style corn
1 can garden peas
1 small onion, chopped
1 c. buttermilk
1 or 2 banana peppers
a dash of garlic
2 c. sharp cheese, grated
Preparation

Mix all ingredients except cheese.
Pour a layer of mixture in oblong pan.
Then add a layer of cheese, then a second layer of mixture and top with the rest of cheese.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until brown.
