Sweet Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 lb. cucumbers
1 tsp. allspice
9 c. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. whole cloves
2 qt. vinegar
Preparation
-
Slice cucumbers.
Soak\tovernight in lime water (2 cups lime to 2 gallons
water).
Rinse 3 or 4 times.\tPut in kettle you are going
to
cook
in
(cucumbers,
vinegar,\tsugar
and spices). Soak 3 hours.
Boil for 30 minutes.
Seal in jars.
