Onion Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Milk, scalded
    3 tbsp. Sugar
    1 tbsp.Salt
    1 1/2 Tbsp. Oil
    3/4 c. Warm Water
    2 Pkg. Yeast
Preparation
    Cool mixture to lukewarm.
    Add 1/2 cup onions, chopped.
    Add four cups flour and mix well.
    Beat the batter well with small amounts of flour and adding more as you progress, 5 to 6 cups in all are needed for complete loaf with kneading, etc.
    Cover and let rise 45 minutes, punch down and then turn into either loaf pans or a large pyrex bowl.
    Let rise a second time and then bake one hour at 350\u00b0.
