Oven Barbecued Rabbit - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 rabbits
    1 lemon
    1/2 c. water
    12 oz. V-8 juice
    1/2 c. catsup
    1/2 c. Worcestershire sauce
    2 medium onions, diced
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    2 medium green peppers, diced
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Cut in serving pieces; salt and pepper.
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. Place rabbit in single layer in well-greased baking pan.
    Squeeze lemon juice over rabbit.
    Bake for 30 minutes.
    Combine other ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a quick boil.
    Reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes.
    While meat is cooking at the end of 30 minutes, pour mixture over meat and reduce heat to 250\u00b0 and bake 3 hours.
    Turn pieces over a couple times during cooking.
    Very low in calories and very high in protein.
