Pear Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cooking oil
    2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    3 c. chopped pears
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream oil and sugar.
    Add eggs and beat well.
    Sift dry ingredients and spices.
    Combine with creamed mixture.
    Add vanilla, pears and nuts.
    Mix well.
    Pour into tube pan and bake one hour at 350\u00b0.
    Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
    Let cool.
