No Bake Mint Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. light corn syrup
    1/4 c. soft butter
    1 tsp. peppermint extract
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 (1 lb.) box sifted powdered sugar
    red and green food coloring
Preparation
    Blend corn syrup, butter, peppermint extract and salt.
    Add powdered sugar.
    Mix with spoon and hands until smooth.
    Divide into thirds.
    Knead 1 drop of red food coloring into 1/3.
    Knead one drop of green food coloring into 1/3.
    Leave 1/3 white.
    Shape into small balls.
    Flatten on waxed paper.
    Let dry several hours.
