Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. dark or light brown sugar
    1/2 stick butter or margarine
    pinch of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. light Karo syrup
    3 eggs
    1 c. pecans
    1 unbaked pastry shell
Preparation
    Combine the above ingredients in a mixing bowl.
    Pour the mixture into the unbaked pastry shell. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until a knife can be inserted and it comes out clean.
