Cheesy Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. melted margarine
    2 lb. frozen hash browns, thawed
    1/2 c. chopped onion (optional)
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 cans cream of chicken soup
    1 pt. sour cream
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients.
    Place in a greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
    (Up to this point, can be done the day before needed.)
    When ready to bake, top with crushed potato chips.
    Bake, uncovered, in a 350\u00b0 oven for 50 to 60 minutes.
    Makes approximately 12 servings.
