Mulled New England Punch(Makes Three 8 Ounce Servings.) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. water
    3 sticks (about 2 1/2-inches each) cinnamon, broken in half
    1 tsp. whole cloves
    2 unflavored tea bags
    1 (6 oz.) can apple juice (about 3/4 c.)
    1/2 c. cranberry juice
    2 Tbsp. honey
    3 thinly sliced apple rings (optional)
Preparation
    In a medium saucepan, place water, cinnamon sticks and cloves. Bring to a boil over high heat; reduce heat to low.
    Cover and simmer for 5 minutes.
    Add tea bags.
    Remove from heat, cover and let stand for 5 minutes.
    Remove spices and tea bags and discard. Stir in apple juice, cranberry juice and honey.
    Heat over medium heat.
    Pour into cups and garnish with apple rings, if desired.
