Gingerbread(Low Cholesterol) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. ground ginger
    1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. ground cloves
    1/2 c. boiling water
    1/3 c. molasses
    1/4 c. corn oil
    vegetable cooking spray
    1 c. unsweetened applesauce
Preparation
    Sift first 7 ingredients together in a medium bowl.
    Make a well in center of mixture.
    Combine water, molasses and corn oil and stir well.
    Add to flour mixture, beating at medium speed of electric mixer until smooth.
    Spoon into 8-inch square pan coated with cooking spray.
    Bake in a preheated 325\u00b0 oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Top servings with the applesauce.
