6 Layer Dinner - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 or 6 large potatoes, peeled
    5 or 6 carrots, peeled
    1/4 c. raw rice (not Minute rice)
    1 c. tomato soup
    1 1/2 lb. ground round
    butter or oleo
    1 medium onion
    1 can water
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    In a greased baking pan: slice potatoes, add salt, pepper and dabs of butter.
    Add sliced carrots.
    Sprinkle with rice.
    Layer chopped onion.
    Fry ground round just until no longer pink and place on top of onions.
    Mix soup and water and pour over the top. Bake at 325\u00b0 to 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
