Salmon Burgers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 c. crushed potato chips
    1 (1 lb.) can salmon, drained and flaked
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 egg, beaten
    1/4 c. salad oil
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Melt butter or margarine in a heavy skillet.
    Add chopped onion and cook over medium heat until tender.
    Remove from heat and place in a mixing bowl.
    Add 1/2 cup potato chips, egg, salt and salmon.
    Mix well.
    Shape mixture into six patties.
    Coat with remaining potato chips.
