Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. margarine
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. peanut butter
3 c. quick cooking oatmeal
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Place sugar, cocoa, milk, margarine and salt in a 2-quart saucepan; mix well.
Bring to a boil; boil 1 minute.
Remove from heat; add peanut butter.
Mix well; stir in oatmeal and vanilla. Drop by spoonfuls on buttered cookie sheet or cookie sheet covered with waxed paper or aluminum foil.
Cool until firm in refrigerator.
