Sweet Sour Spareribs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. pork spareribs
    1/3 c. flour
    1/3 c. soy sauce
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 clove garlic
    1-inch ginger root
    dash of Five spices
    1 egg
    1 c. nonfat plain yogurt
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. maple syrup
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. whole wheat pastry flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. salt (or less)
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    nutmeg (optional)
Preparation
    Beat together egg, yogurt, butter, maple syrup and vanilla. Add and whisk until just blended the pastry flour, baking powder, salt, baking soda and nutmeg.
    Add nonfat milk to achieve desired consistency.
    Use a nonstick griddle, if possible.
    Serves two (with one leftover!).
