Pepper Hash(Relish) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    24 sweet peppers
    14 medium onions
    2 Tbsp. salt
    2 c. brown sugar or white sugar
    4 c. vinegar
    hot jalapeno peppers to taste (about 12; only if desired)
Preparation
    Grind all vegetables separately.
    Cover peppers with boiling water.
    Let stand 10 minutes; drain.
    Add onions, sugar, salt and vinegar.
    Stir, blending well.
    Heat to boiling.
    Boil 10 minutes. Seal in hot jars.
