Pralines - cooking recipe

4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 c. cream
3 c. pecans
Preparation

Make syrup of 3 cups sugar, salt and cream. Put on low heat to boil. Melt other cup of sugar in heavy cast-iron skillet until dissolved and light brown in color. Add syrup to this mixture and cook until it forms firm ball. Add pecans. Remove from heat and beat until creamy. Drop by spoonfuls on wax paper.
