Fresh Strawberry-Rhubarb Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. water
    1 lb. fresh rhubarb, cleaned and cut into 1-inch pieces
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin
    2 pt. fresh strawberries, washed and hulled
    1 c. heavy or whipping cream
    2 Tbsp. powdered sugar
Preparation
    Mix together sugar and cornstarch in large saucepan.
    Stir in water and add rhubarb.
    Cook mixture over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, just until rhubarb is tender and mixture is thickened and bubbly.
    Boil for 1 minute.
    Remove from heat; stir in strawberry gelatin until dissolved.
    Refrigerate, stirring often, until mixture mounds when dropped from spoon.
    Stir in strawberries.
