Special Tea Cakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. self-rising flour
1 c. sugar
2/3 c. shortening
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1/2 c. milk
3 eggs
Preparation

Beat eggs, sugar, milk, vanilla and shortening.
Work in flour like you would for biscuit dough.
Knead and roll out on floured surface.
Cut out and bake on cookie sheet for 15 to 20 minutes at 375\u00b0.
Yields 2 dozen cakes.
