Baked Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head cabbage, shredded
    8 slices bacon, fried
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 pt. tomato cheese
    2 slices toast, cubed
Preparation
    Cook cabbage in boiling salt water until tender.
    Turn off heat and let stand 1 minute; then drain.
    Fry bacon until crisp.
    Cook onion in bacon grease until tender.
    Mix all ingredients, reserving 4 slices of bacon.
    Pour into baking dish.
    Crumble and sprinkle remaining bacon on top.
    Bake 30 to 40 minutes at 350\u00b0.
